When the game is paused, the models from h0X are loaded, which contain higher-quality models/textures. c0X folders are the models used when in gameplay, which are lower quality to make the game run faster. c01-7 & h01-7 are folders containing the data for other alts. c00 and h00 are folders containing the data for the default alts.

It introduced me to Kirby, another game series I got into. Smash introduced me to my favorite video game character. When I finally got Smash for myself, I even kept the white alternate costume that I got because my friend used him too all the time. I’d never even heard of Kirby, but as I started playing with Meta Knight I was able to get some KOs on my friends. But something about the way he moved and beat Kirby (who I had started to try in an attempt to win) up with ease made me want to play as him.
Maybe it was simply that he’s below Kirby. Maybe it was luck that Meta Knight was chosen. With Kirby, this person (going to try not to reveal genders because it was a sleepover) seemed to have a clear advantage. I would get eliminated right away and they would try to win. Anyways, I kept getting destroyed by my friends and the fight was only ever really between them since we had it on stock. I was absolutely awful when I first started. That’s probably because I still occasionally play Brawl, but whatever. At my Halloween party, we set a Smash tournament and got to the final round and won (though I think I did lose once to the only boy that came, but I beat him to win so it’s okay). I don’t consider myself good at video games, but I can put up a good fight in MarioKart or Smash against family or friends. I’m ashamed to think there was a time like that, but even more ashamed to think of how I played.
I was probably familiar with Pokémon and Mario characters and that was it (yeah, I just looked at Brawl’s roster and there’s no way I knew more than that). Now before, I had never seen this game or most of the characters in it. This was back a few years before 4 and before I really got into video games and before I was in middle school (and when I friends). I was at a friend’s house (I think it was a sleepover) and one of my other friends was there.
